Time to take a step back and think about what you want. What can you realistically achieve each week and month? Think about this… without setting goals in exercise/nutrition, there is far less value and purposeful direction. Your goals need to be realistic AND measurable on a daily, weekly and monthly basis. For example, a 40 year old woman weighing 180 pounds wishing to weigh 110 pounds within 3 months is specific, measurable and time related, however unrealistic. Generally, a safe weight loss rate is ½ to 2 pounds per week depending on your current body weight.
